- Traditional speaker companies that have added a few active models to their otherwise passive lineup, mostly as an afterthought.
- Boutique brands with their identity tied to a single active speaker offering.
- Studio brands with a wide selection of active speakers, both budget and higher end offerings.
Sigberg Audio is none of the above. At Sigberg Audio, active isn't an afterthought or a side project. High-end active is all we do. It's everything we do.

Why we chose this path
For us, there was never any question. Active designs opens up real performance gains, so why do anything else? Passive will never offer the same flexibility and accuracy in crossover design, or the ability to perfectly amplify every single loudspeaker driver.
