How many subwoofers do I need?
A single subwoofer
While one subwoofer may work well, if you have the space we always recommend dual subwoofers. Remember, you can always start with one and expand later!
If you are looking at our Manta system, we recommend a minimum of two subwoofers to do justice to the extreme dynamic capacity of the Manta.
Dual subwoofers (recommended)
Two subwoofers will give you twice the capacity and a smoother and more even bass response.
Two subwoofers is recommended in most situations, and the most popular configuration when customers purchase our speaker systems.
Multiple subwoofers
Do you have a large room, want the flattest and smoothest response possible in a large area, and/or want to play really loud? Then four or more subs can be the way to go. Some of our customers employing Trinnov Waveforming have as many as eight (8) subs!
