Remarkable – that was the first word that came to mind when I placed the latest passion project from the founder of Sigberg Audio, Thorbjørn Sigberg, in its new spot in my living room. The Sigberg Saranna has an intriguing yet minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic, and every detail reflects a high standard of craftsmanship. I had no idea how they would sound, but in my mind the tone had already been set – partly because of their distinctive appearance and the many positive reports I had heard. When the first track began to play, I was surprised and impressed; "this is remarkable."
